Beeswax is a valuable byproduct of beekeeping, but raw wax often contains impurities such as honey, propolis, and debris from the beehive. A Finlay wax melter simplifies the process by gently heating the wax to remove these contaminants, resulting in clean, high-quality beeswax that is ready for candle making, cosmetics, or other uses.
The Finlay wax melter can also be used to melt old brood comb, reducing disease profiles in your beekeeping operation and recovering the beeswax, instead of destroying this old comb by burial or paying to ship it to the landfill.
We offer a large and a small Finlay wax melter, with both using a digital temperature controller to obtain the optimum temperature for your job at hand. The option to add water to float the liquid beeswax to the top of the melter, and then draw the purified beeswax from the center of the melter allows your wax to have essentially no debris after melting.

The Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership provides funding, up to a maximum, for Saskatchewan beekeepers to improve Biosecurity and livestock health on their farm.
